A Doctor Without Compassion: A Cautionary Tale It’s heartbreaking when the very person entrusted with your care shows no compassion. This so-called “doctor” was condescending, dismissive, and quick to push medications without ever truly listening. She spoke with her hands in a way that was more distracting than helpful, and the moment you asked a question, she’d shut you down with the rudest response imaginable. For two years, my mother suffered from a persistent cough under her care, yet not once did she take the time to investigate. No tests, no real effort—just more prescriptions. When she finally decided to order an X-ray, it was too late. My mother had terminal cancer. If you’re looking for someone to ignore warning signs, belittle your concerns, and put your life at risk, then this is the doctor for you. But if you value your health, I urge you—to choose wisely. As the saying goes, buyer beware.

My mother was a patient of this doctor for two years. Over that time, she endured countless misdiagnoses—being told she had asthma, bronchitis, and RSV. The worst was when she went in with neck pain and was brushed off with an arthritis diagnosis and told to get a special pillow. Of course, my 87-year-old mother trusted her doctor and followed the advice. As my mother’s condition worsened, she returned with persistent neck pain and a headache. Only then did this so-called doctor finally order an x-ray, revealing terminal cancer. This doctor’s condescending attitude, unwillingness to listen, and constant hand-flailing to distract from her incompetence, make her a truly horrendous physician. If you want compassionate, attentive care, steer clear of this doctor. But if you're looking for neglect and heartbreak, you've found your match.

A physician is as good as their staff. Dr. Truong is an excellent doctor who treats her patients with an individual and excellent mindset. I used to see Dr Truong at her old practice location. Since she moved to MPG, 3 out of 3 times contacting the office staff, I found the office staff to be unprofessional, incompetent, disrespectful, and untruthful. (especially Courtney) I left the practice and went to another excellent doctor with a competent and professional office staff.

Dr. Truong listens carefully and thoughtfully, giving our visit sufficient time to discuss reason for visit and diagnosis, while mapping out approach to restore wellness, including a followup visit if necessary. In the short period of time I have been going to Dr. Truong, I feel comfortable and confident in her care.

This is the only doctor I've seen who didn't dismiss my symptoms because I'm young.

Excellent... She referred me to Miami University Hospital to a top Neural vascular surgeon and 3 days after brain aneurysm surgery I was released... Has taken me as a snow bird and given me excellent care and always on a timely basis.

Worst doctor around.
