Dr. Binod Bista, MD

He was absolutely wonderful, until the last year, or eighteen months. There are only three staff who have any manners, the others are so rude. The sweet ones are the only reason I have continued to go - but I won’t go back. He screamed at me on the telephone for a mistake he made, then he is unbelievably rude both in the office and in his messages regarding questions I have had. Have never heard him speak to a male in this manner, only females. His wife is wonderful, a pediatrician who is the other half it the practice.

After seeing Dr. Bista for years, when I contracted Covid 19 and called for an appointment, I was told there was nothing they could do for me and I would just have to let it run it’s course! I went to Urgent care and was prescribed steroids and cough medicine. I had seen him previously and know his opinion on the Covid vaccine and let’s just say if you didn’t take it, you most likely won’t get good care from him. He seems to be taking it personally if you choose not to get the vaccine.

When Dr. Bista was at the Waddell Center in Athens he was great . After he moved communication is very poor. Call and leave messages for him and his nurse and they say they will call back and never do. Very disappointed with him.

I am so fortunate to have found a doctor who listens and cares about everything I say. He has a great personality and sense of humor. Best doctor I’ve ever been to

I have been to him twice. Once for an Initial visit and the last yesterday when I was sick. His was the best in room experience I have ever had with a doctor. He explains things without talking down to the patient. I hope he stays in Athens for a long time.

Wonderful staff. And wonderful doctor. I couldn't ask for anyone better.
