Dr. Birger Steven Bentsen, MD

Making an appointment is impossible, unless it's on Saturday between 8am and 10am. He always shows up very late. Urgent calls between office visits are simply ignored. As long as you are directly in front of him the experience is OK. As soon as you leave you may as well fall off the face of the earth. Billing is a nightmare. Not fraudulent. There are no unusual or excessive charges. The submissions and other administration of the practice is simply inept and totally inexcusably cold and impersonal.

I read other reviews, so it goes to show: don't always believe what you read. Dr. Bentsen does 1 thing that so many doctors fail to do: he listens to what you have to say. Then he (as far as my experience) to an excellent job of diagnosing my problem and prescribing accurate medication He doesn't play around, very serious-but that is what a doctor needs to do in order to do his job. We are talking about a very serous subject: our well-being and our lives! As far as his help, (1 of them), she could have a little nicer attitude-I wasn't impressed with her; however I choose to just look over her because not everyone we deal with is going to have a good bedside manner. She is not an asset to Dr. Bentsen. His therapist however is a different story:she does a great job. Impressed. So, 2 out of 3(and those 2 are the key most important) works well for me!

I met him my first time today he was running really late but the other patients told me that this was a first and he is really good at being there ontime but i just have bad luck i guess.Also he never meets you in person its over a video thing off the computer but it was just like he was there.Great Dr. im told, I liked him .

Arrogant.

His office staff were rude and uncaring and wanted to charge me for a office visit that I never created. The doctor never returned any of my urgent phone calls.
