Dr. Bita Shaghaghi, DO

If I could give he no stars I would. This so called Dr is a psychopath. She’s so controlling and many of us believe she will hurt or kill her husband someday. She has a shrine of items her patience made her, which are people in jail and prison. She goes from Zero to nuts in seconds. The truth about her will come out soon.

I have been going to Dr. Shaghaghi for almost a year, and she is the BEST psychiatrist I have ever had. I have seen plenty of psychiatrists in my time. She is very thorough, doesn’t make me feel rushed, is very professional and competent, and she truly cares about her patients. I have improved under her care. She diagnosed me accurately and chose the right meds to address my symptoms, all with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach. She is very patient-centered and really listened to me, which is hard to find among doctors. I don’t know how anyone could give her a bad review because she is an excellent doctor. I highly recommended her to anyone who wants to improve their mental health.

Dr. Shaghaghi wrote me the wrong prescription-she wrote a prescription for 300 mg once a day when it was supposed to be 300 mg twice a day (600 mg). She was supposed to continue my previous prescription of 300 mg twice a day (600 mg). Good thing I'm smart and I caught it before starting to take the psychiatric medication. Due to her incompetence in not being able to correctly write prescriptions something very serious could've happened to my mental health. In addition, she didn't even know how to read a prescription bottle-she was looking at the bottle of my previous prescription and she thought the name of the pharmaceutical company was the name of my previous psychiatrist. I also feel that her approach is very "doctor/what she thinks" centered and I felt that I had no say in my treatment/medication decisions.
