Would never see him again. Staff was rude and a rotator cuff surgery and now I am in pain everyday. All they are interested is the money. I was in pain and was told the Dr. does call patients and I have to come in, I could drive because of the pain. I told him and didn’t seem to care. Now having issues with my hand never did until the surgery.

This surgeon operated on my father in law while he had an infection. It got so bad the infection became life threatening and he needed immediate surgery. No other doctors wanted to touch him because they said he could die and he was forced to see Rhode yet again. This man should not be allowed to continue to do this to people! Practice is the perfect word for him because it seems he’s still PRACTICING on everyone.

He is a hack and slash surgeon associated with a shady law firm that pilfers indigent workers comp cases in the downstate area (Peoria, E. Peoria, Pekin), takes them to Chicago to operate, then abandons them during follow up. I've had the unfortunate experience of treating some of his patients that suffered horrible post-operative infections and were completely neglected by this "physician". Avoid him as a practitioner.

I was shocked when I arrived at the office for my appointment. The front staff was NOT masked. When I asked, the receptionist responded that the office staff does NOT wear masks. I asked if Dr. Rhode will be wearing a mask. She informed me that Dr. Rhode.does NOT wear a mask. Why would I trust a doctor with such poor judgement? I walked out. Not someone I want treating me or my loved ones.

I have been seeing Dr Rhode since 2006. He is the only Orthopedic I will see . He has done 6 of my surgeries. And his P. A . Mark is Awesome also.

The appointment was for my dad, he was told all the pain in his shoulder was because of a frozen shoulder and he sent him for physical therapy. The pain got worse and he wouldn't do any tests , he just gave him cortisone shots and insisted it was a frozen shoulder and that this pain will last for two years. I took him to another doctor and he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in his bones. What kind of doctor can't pick up on something like that?
