Dr. Blaise Paul Vitale, MD

He listens carefully when I explain my medical problems and asks insightful questions. He explains possible treatments and the typical success of each option, taking my medical history into consideration. Then asks for my thoughts, and we discuss what is the best option for me. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

He listens to my concerns and compares current issues with previous ones and previous treatments before recommending how to address the new situation.

Dr. Vitale listens carefully to what I have to say about my ailments. He explains clearly what the underlying problems see to be. Recommends specialists, if needed. Explains possible treatment options. Asks for my input before deciding on best treatment to use.

This guy should not be practicing medicine. He talks about himself most the time and tries pushing medication that is not necessary. My mom was in worst shape after seeing him. I can't believe this guy is still practicing in Grantsburg.

Extremely close minded, almost to the point of sounding uneducated, after leaving office feel more confused, and angry than satisfied.

Dr. Vitale is a highly intelligent man,but his ego is too large to allow patient input and feedback on their own conditions. His own personal opinions are narcissistic,and interfere with the dr./patient relationship. I realize that this relationship is one of the few that I have that is legally confidential,but I am uncomfortable to talk freely with someone who is lecturing me with information that I know for fact is incorrect. He gave me a moral lecture on the evils of marihuana for 20 minutes,blaming an increase of crime and violence on it,and also that it is a "gateway drug" for future problems. Meanwhile, I took my 83 yr.old disabled elderly mother to her appointment with Dr.Huan,,a senior Internal Medicine Specialist at Essentia Health/St.Mary's in Duluth,Mn.-He told my mother that if she could find a way of ingesting marihuana that was suitable for her,he could safely take her off of 2/3rds of the toxic prescriptions that she takes on a daily basis. I would love to see her off of… warfarin and oxycotin! So,just an example of conflicting opinions between 2 different doctors. I will trust to research the opinion of the physician with a more impressive education and experience level.
