Summary
Dr. Blake Thompson grew up in Virginia Beach, VA and moved to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida, graduating with a B.A. in Chemistry. In 2001 he graduated from Nova Southeastern's College of Dental Medicine with his D.M.D. Following graduation, Dr. Thompson established the Haywood County Dental Clinic, a community, non-profit dental clinic, in the mountains of western North Carolina. The clinic is a state -of-the-art facility in the heart of the Smokey Mountains.  As clinic director,  he oversaw and helped provide much needed dentistry for under served children and elderly in the area. Dr. Thompson also served as an adjunct clinical instructor for the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, College of Dentistry and advisory board  member of Head Start.
In 2005, Dr. Thompson returned to Tampa to establish a comprehensive practice focusing on general, cosmetic, and implant restorative dentistry. He enjoys all practicing all phases of dentistry and …views it as much a hobby as a profession.
Dr. Thompson and his wife, Tammy, live in Tampa with their two children, Raegan and Cooper. In his spare time he enjoys running, yoga, water sports and playing guitar.
