Summary
Trained in primary care, I decided to seek certification in addiction medicine in part to meet a need in my community. I have found the study and practice of addiction medicine to be particularly interesting and rewarding. After practicing addiction medicine in both inpatient and outpatient settings in Texas, I was delighted to join the team at Kaiser Permanente. Apart from my practice here, I also provide primary care services at a community- based clinic on a voluntary basis.
