Unprofessional. Extremely rude to staff. Whines like a child to admin if he doesn’t get his way and has been known to refuse to work with people of color and tries to get team members fired without just cause.

The most rude, selfish and unprofessional physician to work with.

First time visiting Sessions. Tells me to explain whats wrong. He cut me off two sentences in because he noticed a previous scar from a prior hand surgery. He asked me what doctor performed that hand surgery and rudely implied (through eye rolling, sighing, and verbal remarks) that it was not necessary and the cut was bad (not sure how he knew this because he didn't even know the reasoning of the surgery). That surgery was successful in eliminating pain and giving me back some use of my arm...so his comments were way off base. That was the first five minutes of him walking into the room for my appointment. The rest of the appointment continued to flow the same way and he actually misunderstood something I said (because he cut me off) and it led to him going on a rant about it. But when I was able to realize he misunderstood what I said and his rant was over, I was able to correct him. He got more mad and didn't even apologize for his mistake. Overall, it was the most unprofessional… doctor appointment I have ever experienced, and I have experienced a lot of doctors over the last five years. I hear he might be a good surgeon, but he lacks compassion, understanding, and listening. This is my experience.

Cut UP a Diabetic and told Pt. You would do Orthoscopic.

Dr Sessions, sent me for an MRI after physical therapy made my issue worse. He found in my MRI I had extensive damage and is concerned that there is a very small chance of an infection if I have surgery to replace my shoulder (as with any surgery) But since my other arm is completely paralyzed I would have no use of either arm for a while after surgery, so in my best interest he suggested we try relieving my pain with other means until I absolutely must have surgery. His decision is in line with how I felt my condition should be handled. My other Dr's are all in line with Dr Sessions decision due to my condition. I read some of the comments here and realize some people can't be satisfied due to their nature, and don't actually listen to their Dr's.

I had carpal tunnel and trigger thumb & finger surgery one week ago. I am completely satisfied with the treatment that I received beginning with the first initinal contact with his office staff to the follow-up calls from his Nurse Practicioner and Dr Sessions himself. Dr Sessions "bedside manner" is phenomanal and his surgical skills are superior to the physician that did my first carpal tunnel surgery (other hand) I appreciated that Dr. Sessions gave me all of the options for treatment, allowing me to be part of the decision making process. Most doctors would recommend going straight to surgery. I will add that I worked in the medical profession for over 25 years. I spent some of that time as the staff Optician at LSU Eye Center, a teaching institution. I have been around physicians ranging from Residence to world-renowed Surgeons. I would rate Dr. Sessions as being in the best of the best overall catagory. Great communication and exellent surgical ability. I am confident that he… will be recognized the same way by his patients and peers.

Dr Session was great!! he explained the whole carpel tunnel procedure and i was able to watch . I was expecting to be off work for at least a week or more . I had it done on a Friday and was back to work with no restriction on Monday . I don"t know why i waited so long . Planing to get the other hand done soon!!

I had a trigger finger and carpal tunnel surgery performed by Dr Session. I was very nervous but Dr Session put me at ease with his wit and easy going personality. The surgery was a success thanks to a very capable doctor. Thanks Dr Session

Dr Sessions was very personable. Explained the procedure very clearly. the actual surgery was as pleasant as surgery can be. I would see him again and recommend him to friends.
