Dr. Bo Nasmyth Loy

Eighteen months after total right arthroplasty, I am required to use a walker or brace and cane at all times.

This was just a bad and uncomfortable appointment. He talked over me,. He was very loud and uneducated. Offered no advice and there was a situation he handled so poorly I called the head of the hospital to complain. He was so inappropriate and out of line that the higher up needed to be informed. If you see him, have someone go with you in the room.

I had my first surgery by another Dr. and he did a replacement shoulder surgery and then 3 months later the Dr. had to go back in and replace the head that was to big!!! After 8 1/2 months of PT this Dr. told me to eather live with it or I needed another surgery!!! That is when I went to see Dr. Bo Loy and he ended up doing a reversal on my sholuder. The shoulder after 2 weeks was working awsome and is doing great now!! BUT - - - - There was an infection from the 1st surgery and I ended up having to go to the hospital everyday for 6 weeks and have antobiotics pumped into a pic line that was put in my arm. After I got off the antibiotics I ended up getting sick from them and had to have 20 days of meds to straighten that out. Overall, Dr Loy was right on top of my shoulder and infection problem and his folowed up has been excellent!!
