Bo Wu, MD

I'm surprised to see Dr Wu receive less than 5 stars from other patients. To each his own, I suppose, but I don't get it. Dr Wu listens closely and addresses my medical issues quickly. He closely monitors my labs and personally calls me (within hours) if there is a concern. Dr Wu has resolved life-threatening issues caused by other medical staff. I would not be alive if not for Dr Wu. He never rushes, is always thorough and to the point. He makes appropriate referrals for diagnostics and specialists. I have severe health issues, which puts Dr Wu (as my Primary Care Physician) in the position of coordinating my many specialists. I would not allow anyone but Dr Wu to be my Primary Care Physician. On one occasion, Dr Wu called me 3 hours after my lab draw and instructed me to go, immediately, to ER. He called ahead, ER staff was ready for me and got me right in. On another occasion, he stepped in when I was receiving an antibiotic prescribed by another doctor, that was taking my life. Dr… Wu informed me one of the side affects of that antibiotic was "insanity". Without him, I would have had a devastating result. Dr Bo Wu is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered, hands down. He has been my Primary Care Physician for 12 years.

Dr WU is intelligent, caring and efficient. I get in ON time, he answers every question, he responds to my labs with email quickly and explains next step or meds. He doesn't chat a lot but Im not there for that. His office is very good. I was at another internal medicine system for 20 years and cant believe how much better this experience is.

Doesn't listen at all. Told him a medication didn't agree with me for pain. After listing over 10 medications that would be good alternatives, he prescribed the medication that made me feel ill. Would not recommend, but for now I am stuck with him..
