had an appointment but it took 3 hours before Dr. Hutchins showed up to see me as a new patient, no hello and a barrage of strange health inquiries, no bedside manners, rude demeanor, no way to communicate with him, set me up for surgery for a skin lesion even though I told him repeatedly to hold off till I get a proper diagnosis, my blood pressure went through the roof dealing with him and he assured me I needed medication but when I called back several times later next week he declined and told me to come in first on another appointment (lunchtime), no way the staff would let me speak to the doctor, very disappointed since this is my first real doctor visit after 12 years going without health insurance, I'm now looking for a new doctor to be my PCP, guess I won't get to see my blood work results with Dr. Hutchins unless I go in for another … agonizing visit, scary

Very rude and inpatient doctor. Misdiagnosed me even after prior diagnosing by previous doctor. Laughed at diagnosis.

Dr. walked into the room with no hello, did not introduce himself. just asked me what is my problem ? I explained, he acted as though he really did not want to listen, asked me why did i choose that facility ? i explained, and he said that i needed to go back to where i was seen, as though he had no time to deal with me and my problem. he said he could order x-rays, but after being treated like i was a nuisance i left and will not ever go back. i would never recommend this Dr. to anyone.

This Dr. was very unprofessional, judgemental, and just plain rude! Questions me about my private life and on top of that lets me walk out of the office without treatment- I have strept throat! They took my money and did nothing. Service was horrible and there was one woman that had been waiting 5 hours and had only had her vitals done. She sat and watched as they called me back BEFORE her! I guess they only thrive in keeping up MESS! I will never go to this place again and Im still in pain!A family member of mine use to be this man's boss must be careful of how you treat people.....

After the well-over three (3) and half-hour waiting time during my visit, Dr. Bob W. Hutchinson, M.D., an Internist at the Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center on Medgar Evers Drive, lacks the mannerisms that are becoming to a professional who is actually concerned about the patient. This rather imperceptive physician strolls into the medical room with an already patronizing demeanor--as if to say "you're a complete idiot if you're seeing me." Since my appointment time was at 11:00 a.m., albeit I was 15 minutes late, it was completely beyond my expectations that I would be in the doctor's office for a nearly four (4) hour wait.Dr. Hutchinson made too many assumptions about my condition before asking me to inform him of the necessary details. Moreover, when I eagerly volunteered the necessary information, he--arrogantly--cut me off, only to illicit additional information. Therefore, he inquired about my family while feigning interest, but only to continue his fuselage of facetious… remarks and incredulous tonal gestures. Unfortunately, as he had previously done, he asked me questions only to halt my replies with meddlesome, snide, and ungracious remarks. Dr. Bob W. Hutchinson, additionaly, tried to change my prescription without my consent, for which he only hesitated due to the fact that my specialist had me on the prescription for years already. Additionally, four (4),other doctors, had given their approval--or implicitly done so, as I would exemplify in the following.Now, I would be remissed if I'd failed to mention to him that my primary care physician as well as the specialist I was seeing had already approved the prescription combinations. I should also add that both my former and current nephrologist have indicated approval by adding the medication, increasing the dosage, or not changing the prescription after a consultative patient review. Also, I've had two diabetic physicians who had seen me before primary care physician--one was an Internist, the other, a nurse practitioner. Dr. Bob W. Hutchinson clearly refuses to consider patient(s) as an equal partner in his or her health care treatment. I, for one, would say that this is a dangerous path for any physician to embark on--one that can lead to the revoking of one's medical license.
