Dr. Bob Bhagwan Kalani, MD

Dr. Kalani is great. I’ve seen him for years now and have always felt well taken care of. He knows his field, and helps his patients in a straightforward, comforting manner. But what separates him from other practitioners is how good and fast he is handling medication and insurance issues. Sometimes getting the right medication at the lowest price (with insurance or not) is a stressful issue itself. Dr. Kalani makes is much easier. If my insurance provider needs preauthorizations, Kalani helps. If the pharmacy has an issue, you can leave a message on Kalani’s confidential voicemail, and he takes care of it (almost always on the same day). And he does it all without the back and forth you get from other doctors and their offices. Dr. Kalani deals with the issues himself and gets you what you need to feel better, faster. Kalani is kind, works hard to make your life easier, is up-to-date with technology, and is always on time. You can’t ask for more—he’s fantastic.

Dr. Kalani is friendly, thorough, and attentive.

While I felt it was great the first 2 visits the 3rd and 4th visit had me feeling like it wasn’t a good match. He was very personable in the getting to know you stage. By the 3rd visit he saw me for a total of 15 minutes. I couldn’t believe he cut my time?!? I even asked him how long are the visits supposed to be.. his reply 30 min. Welp, according to insurance it’s supposed to be 45 minutes!! During the 4th visit he didn’t even sit down, stood the whole time and was quick to refill a script that was all within 11 minutes. Unacceptable.. I left the practice after this 4th visit. If you’re looking for a quick refill, he’s the guy. If you’re looking for a real doctor move on!

I have found Dr Bob Kalani to be a greedy self serving waste of time and money. I was treated by him for several months for anti-depression and he tried to strongarm me into an ADHD treatment so he could hook me into long term care. His face to face time is very brief, he seems most interested in prescribing pills, collecting payments and scheduling you back in two weeks. I found my own research and taking the vitamin supplement 5-HTP more beneficial than wasting over $3,000.00 on office visits with this quack/shyster.

I have found Dr Kalani to be very thorough. Two sessions of intake. Monitors weight on medications. Gives his personal number so you can reach him. Honest and very straight forward. Answered all my concerns. Was very spot on in how he zeroed in on what I needed by actually listening to the answers I gave to the questions he asked. He may not be "warm and fuzzy" but he is very effective.

Our daughter has made great progress working with Dr Kalani.

Nasty, mean, degrading, inconsiderate. If I could curse on here I would leave a lot of bad names. Worst doctor, take his license away.

Took my son who has anxiety and the first couple of visits the Doctor made me feel hopeful he could help me son. After all he specializing in anxiety. Before our 3rd visit the good Doctor called and left a message that he couldn't help my son! Okay who do you help? His wife who works in the same practice is even worse she leaves her patients high and dry. Doesn't return phone calls or emails even if it means a patient needs a med renewal. Terrible don't waste your time with these 2 quacks!!!

This is the first time in eight years of working with medical professionals that I feel comfortable and that my mental health is being properly addressed.

Dr. KAlani provides a very appropriate level of care. He always ask how I am doing and listens and addresses any changes.
