If you are looking for surgery on your face, keep looking. This Doc is a butcher.I use to turn heads, just wanted to look refreshed, now I get stares of "what happened to her". Run in the opposite direction and find another surgeon.

I got a nose job in 2010 and Dr. Acock certainly did a number on my face. I wanted my nose to be slightly smaller and to take care of a slight hump. $10,000 later and what used to be a straight fuctional nose now has a beautiful and very NOTICABLE S curve down the front of my face and I can't breathe at night. Some cartilage was taken from my septum to do a spreader graft of my sinuses. Too much was taken which weakened by septum to the point where it bent. Certainly didn't help that he forgot to tell/teach me to splint my nose after surgery. He seemed to care less and only comment about it was to look in my nose and say "oh what's that doing way over there?" and say "well the profile view is nice". After bringing in some lovely "before" and "after" photos I put together to put on the table in the waiting room showing my newly mangled nose- he offered to do another surgery to harvest cartilage from my ear but warned that it would be put on what I call my "good side" aka the only… nostril I can breathe out of and that it would make my ability to breathe even worse. So I came in with a slightly larger nose and would leave with a mangled ear and a completely occluded nose and have to walk around with my mouth hanging open the rest of my life? No thanks. So, I now have had multiple sinus infections and photoshop my nose straight in every picture I post on Facebook. Funny how they took a "before" picture before the surgery but never offered an "after". Guess they like to sweep the mistakes under the table. Problem is that I live with his mistake every day and not a day goes by that I don't look in the mirror and regret my choice to go to Dr. Acock. A little side note- they chipped my front tooth when they intubated me and I left surgery with strep throat. 'm now 26 and need to come up with an estimated $20,000 to go to a real professional to have it fixed. All the Dr.'s I've seen after we're completely shocked at the state of my nose and thought it was Acock's first attempt at a nose job- unfortunately not. Amazing job team Acock, amazing job.
