Meet Dr. Bobby Najari
I became a physician because I’ve been in the shoes of patients, and I know what a difference a caring physician can make in someone’s life. When I think back to my days as a child with asthma, I don’t recall the medications I was prescribed, but I do remember my pediatrician’s calm and compassionate demeanor.
I understand that the manner in which healthcare is delivered is as important as the treatment itself, and this knowledge is central to the care I provide.
As a urologist, I manage male infertility, perform vasectomies, treat penile curvature, and perform transgender orchiectomies.
I respect the sensitive nature of these conditions and know that seeking treatment for them can be stressful. My job is to reassure people that, together, we will identify the problem and decide on a treatment that is tailored to both the condition and their personal values.
With my training and experience, as well as the resources available at NYU Langone, I am able to …provide advanced treatments specific to people’s needs. While I can offer treatments that use robotic-assisted surgical techniques, laser ablation, or a microsurgical approach, I do not define myself by a particular technology or technique.
The medical care I offer is driven solely by a dedication to providing people with excellent treatment outcomes in a compassionate manner.
