Always puts my medical needs above I'm sure the pressures of insurance to put people off as long as possible. If he feels I need to see a specialist he says so.

This doctor seemed ok for about five years and today he verbally battered me for no reason. I work in a prison hospital so I have thick skin but was caught so off guard. I was forced to pay for an appointment to correct a clerical error that had been made on my disability paperwork that was holding up my income. I sat waiting In a patient room for minutes and listened to him freak out over something going on with the patient before me. He finally came Into to me and for approximately 1 minute we discussed my return to work date. we walked out to the office staff and he quickly stated to fill out my paperwork but the office girl was unclear and I was confused as well. he then before we could clarify what he said asked this office person to come back to his office to deal with the previous patient and she told another girl to take care of me. She didn't know what to do so she put me back in the room. The doctor finally came back and opened the door and litteraaly yelled at the… top his lungs demanding the "girls" get in here now. Needless to say he screamed at me and to sum it up I finally stood up for myself and stated that I was not asking him for more time, I wasn't asking him for pills, why was he screaming? and he screamed you have fibromyalsia and that is NOT a disabling disease and I have wated enough time on you and walked out! Funny thing is that fibro is not even my diagnosis, I have a lumbar puncture that states I have MS! I was shaking although I have never had a panic attack, I couldn't breathe, I was shaking and confused. The staff was obviously embarrassed and I asked the office girl who was next to me what did I do? she replied, that's how he always is. I sat down in the waiting room while they made the correction. another patient sat down next to me and stated he had done the same thing to her! This was a gut-punch...this is the person in charge of my care and he made me shake and cry because he was angry at the prior patient. I should not have had to pay a c0-payment to have error corrected, they should have fixed and I would have never been verbally abused by my doctor. This was absolutely a verbal assault for NO reason. If I were a man I would have folded his teeth in. Oh, did I mention he put his hand in my face as he said I am done with you? all because his staff made a clerical error. yeah, he has my physical and mental best interest-with friend like him-who needs enemies?

Has met my expectations as a caring and professional Doctor.
