Dr. Bodo Brauer, MD

Never send my lab orders to my lab. Difficult getting anyone on the phone. Office staff indifferent at best.

I have been a pt of Dr. Brauer / Folsom Medical for over 25 yrs. He is always open and honest - some may think a bit rough but I can appreciate the upfront honesty from my medical provider. He does not beat around the bush and you may not like what he has to say but he only wants the best for his patients. I can also appreciate that both he and his staff take the time needed for each patient (which can make other appts run behind). I have recommended him to others and will cotninue to do so.

Been a patient for about 18 years. I have seen a NP that was there a long time and really like her and when she left begin seeing Dr.Brauer again. Yes I have had to wait a couple of times but he has always apologized. Always very nice and caring.

He ie caring and he takes time and listen to you.He has always help me and my children.He has been great for me.Good communication is important about your health and being honest with your doctor.

Loves to do unnecessary tests especially if your Medicaid and Medicare. His male NP is unknowable. His female gives accurate diagnosis butt waiting time is awful everyone wants to see her. Dr is rude and over bearing especially of you don't do what he wants you tio..of your not medically challenged and know what they are doing yoy know they seem to take advantage of your insurance and over spend.look for another Dr! He doesn't even cine to hospitals

My Grandmother has been going to Dr. Brauer for several years now. My mother has had to take her to see Dr. Brauer lately because itâ??s getting harder for my grandmother to drive. Every time they go they have to wait at least 2 hours to see him. When they do see him he hurry's up as if you aren't important. Today they went and he asked my mother and my grandmother how they are doing and they said they aren't too good they had waited 2 hours and 45 minutes to see him just so he could go over lab results that he could have told my grandmother over the phone but I guess he just wanted them to make another office visit to see him. After telling him they weren't happy because this happens every time, he became very rude with my mother. He stated he didnâ??t appreciate the tone of her voice. My mother was talking calmly she never raised her voice my mother is a very sweet lady who never gets upset to the point she raises her voice. My mother finally told him she was leaving the room… and he could go over the lab results with my grandmother. As my mother was walking out the door he told her, "Don't walk away from me while I'm talking to you". At that point she closed the door and left. I have never in my life been talked to like that by any doctor. If anyone is considering going to this man, DON'T. He is a waste of your time there are much better doctors to go to. I am calling his office to speak to him tomorrow about the way he spoke to my mother. This is unacceptable especially since my grandmother pays him to be her doctor. And from reading the other reviews on here I'm not the only one that feels the way I do about this man. Also when my grandfather passed away Dr. Brauer never even came into the hospital room to say anything. And Dr. Brauer was the main doctor that was taking care of him. It might actually be a good idea if you want your loved ones to actually live longer donâ??t go to this man.

When you go to see the Doctor you need to know that you will be there at least 3 hours. No matter that you have appoitment.

I've been seeing dr brauer for a little over 2 years now. I'm a pretty healthy 31 year old female who only takes a low dose anti depressant and a vitamin. He is a very kind & caring doctor. He is personable & relatable. He takes his time & answers any questions you may have. Its hard to get a last minute appt if your sick though & sometimes the wait time is long but overall the staff & dr brauer are great!

Dr. Brauer is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. He has given up his time in the evenings or on the weekends if my family needed him. You may have to wait for him if you have an office visit but when it is your turn, he will give you as much time and attention as you need.

My family and I are earnestly searching for a new doctor--one who cares about patients and works for them!!!
