I am not sure if they were all having an "off" day or not. But my first appt was very disappointing. The doctor never did come in to see me and mind you, he was sitting right outside the room chatting with the girls at the nurse's station. I guess he felt he didn't want to see any more patients that day. It was only 1pm. Especially after NP Jodi saw I had a prolapsed bladder and I have IC BPS. I would have thought at that point the doctor would have at least come in even for 5 min. Jodi said she wanted to have a CT done and I have called several times now in the last week and the imaging center still does not have the request. Funny that my regular doc called in to have an ultrasound done (different issue) and the imaging center called me the very next day. So, it's not them. I even called Dr. Sotolo's office to inform them nothing had been received by the imaging center and I got a message back that they had called it in and for me to call the imaging center. Well, I did call, twice… and no, they have no request. Dr. Sotolo may very well be an excellent surgeon but being that he never took even 5 min to come in and talk with me, I will go elsewhere. Honestly, I am not one to complain. That does not solve anything. I could see if I was an established patient and NP Jodi is very good, but no, I cannot recommend this practice.

Dr. sofola performed a saturated biopsy. It was effortless for me. He explained everything. Afterwards little to no pain. Healed fast. Only problem is the waiting time for scheduled appointments.

Horrible to make appointments with. Over books people & makes them wait hours. Did not Follow up after surgery. Always running hours behind with no regard for people's time.

My husband had to have surgery because of a serious serious infection. Because of that he had to be left open in 2 places on his pelvis and scrotum which has to be packed so it can drain. The hole in his scrotum is a big bigger around then a quarter. He is still in very severe pain due to the gaping holes. So today is his first appointment. Mind you my husband cannot SIT for even short periods because of the pain. So I told the lady at the deak with the braces about his open holes and how painful it is for him to sit and I just wanted to know if he would have to wait much longer and she VERY rudely informed me that it was gonna be "a while". This is ridiculous to leave a patient in severe pain with open wounds to sit out in the waiting room for so long past the appointment time. Oh and they had already rescheduled once on top of this. I am not happy at all.

i would not recommend sofola to anybody. my appointments were canceled 3 diff times and when he didnt cancel i had to wait over an hour in waiting room every time. in both visits that didnt get cancelled nothing was accomplished except me giving my copay. a complete waste of time

Dr. Sofola is very easy to talk with. He is very compitent in his field.
