Dr. Bonita Wesley Wilson, MD

I began my medical career as a Pediatrician and was bothered by the prevalence of asthma and allergies in childhood and the significant effect these conditions had on quality of life. I decided to pursue the specialty of Allergy and Immunology in order to provide expertise to help these patients. I still am able to follow my patients over time and enjoy participating in their growth and development. The specialty of Allergy and Immunology also affords me the pleasure of seeing patients of all ages. I am a mother of three, and recently became a grandmother, and I enjoy working out, bike riding, reading, and spending time with my grandson. I have participated in a few triathlons. I was raised in Philadelphia, went to medical school at Howard University in Washington DC, did pediatrics at Boston City Hospital, and an Allergy fellowship at Howard University Hospital. I may have been a city girl but now I am loving the more quiet environment of Fredericksbueg.
