Dr. Bonnie Louise Culkin, MD

She has been my Family Physician for over 20 years, and I rank her as one of the most thorough and comprehensive individuals one could visit with an issue. If you are admitted to the hospital, you can rest assured she will be there daily to assess the situation and make sure you are getting the ultimate care. I am extremely satisfied of her service over the years. She is one of the best. I give her a 5 Star. Al Steele

Both Dr and nurse seem incapable of complex issues. If you want help, this is not the place to go.

If you have multiple medical issues, stay away from this one. Too judgement.

At least one of the providers at this location puts their own personal judgements of the patient before the well being of the person. So if you do anything she doesn't approve of, she will refuse treatment. Then when you ask for recommendation to a specialist, she doesn't follow through. Look out smokers or drinkers. You won't be treated here.

I met Dr. Cullkin when she treated a friend of mine during an emergency. She did exactly what she promised, met us in the emergency room. She came back to the hospital at 7 pm to be sure my friend had been assigned a room, came to check the next day (New Year's day) She impressed me that she cared deeply for the welfare of a woman that was not her patient. I discovered later that she had a baby about 6 weeks old when she did this. She has been my Doctor ever since. She is probably the best family Doctor in the Roanoke Valley, she is definitely the most caring.
