Dr. Bonnie Jeanne Davis, MD

When I had my first appointment with Dr. Davis I thought she was a good doctor, boy was I wrong! After being diagnosed with an intracranial brain tumor Dr. Davis refused to provide me with pain medication unless I saw her in her office- even though I had an appointment with her the previous month when she diagnosed my tumor. I AM NOT one for pain medication, but the pain caused by the tumor was unbearable. Ironically, I was looking for a non narcotic pain medication to help with the pain, but doctor Davis couldn’t be bothered. Instead she told me to go to the ER. The ER doctor said he was surprised she didn’t give me anything stronger than Tylenol for the pain. Doctors may be paranoid about prescribing pain medication to patients due to the opioid crisis but that is NO reason to leave critical patients in pain. Horrible doctor!!!!!!

If she doesnt know, she is upfront about it. She has a same-day turn around time for rx refills, and will move mountains to fit you in for urgent appointments if needed! Excellent bedside manner, we cannot recommend her enough as she is our family physician.

Dr. Davis is one of THE best doctors I have ever seen. She is very caring, remembers her patients, has an excellent bed-side manner, spends all the time I need to discuss various issues I have at the time of the appointment, never tries to rush the appointment, very thorough, not hesitant about referring me out if she doesn't know the answers, answers all my questions. I've been with her since she joined Shelton Family Medicine, and think they couldn't have made a better choice in a doctor for their office. I absolutely adore her, and have a very comfortable repour with her. She shows caring and concern over her patients.

Had a significant injury, sent to specialists. Needed pain medication, but she wouldn't write one cause I hadn't seen her in 4 months. Isn't she still my GP? Spent 7 hours in travel and emergency room to get pain medication to take long enough to find another doctor to treat my herniated disc.

I came in with a growth in my throat. Dr Davis didn't even look at my throat and referred me to a ear nose and throat guy and I had to be in pain for 4 more weeks before I saw him. She just doesn't care or doesn't know.
