Dr. Bonnie Lee Gabriel, MD

This page did not accept my first attempt at a review of Dr Gabriel...But I don't give up. My wife had a appt with her today at 3PM...my wife called me at 6PM saying she had not SEEN Dr Gabriel yet!!!! And when my wife checked to see what was going on...the office was CLOSED!!! TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL !! I don't understand how Gabriel received some of the reviews she did on this page---perhaps they're all RELATIVES. Well, you people can have her---my wife won't be back!!! DougT Sarasota, FL

My wife, Heidi, had an appointment with Dr Gabriel at Intercoastal Med group on Cattleman rd in Sarasota for today (2/3) at 3:00PM. She called me at 6:00pm stating that Gabriel had NOT SEEN HER YET!!! To make matters worse, when my wife left the "exam" room to see what was happening---she found the office was CLOSED. ARE YOU F*KG KIDDING ME??? This is the most unprofessional, disrespectful experience I've ever heard of in my life. Just who does Gabriel think she is??? My wife came home---totally distraught. Actually, I've been going to Intercoastal for over three years--but MY primary physician is Dr Charles Hollen who is FANTASTIC. He and his P.A. are professional, courteous and respectful. I don't know how Gabriel got the "reviews" she received on this page--maybe they're all relatives. Being a Christian, I can't really say how I feel about her right now---but, it's certain , my wife WON'T BE BACK AGAIN !!! Doug T Sarasota, FL

Been a patient for several years and I agree we have long waits before seeing her but well worth the wait. She is the best Dr. I have ever seen and she LISTENS . Perhaps her staff could be friendlier but Dr. Gabriel is very caring and knowledgeable . I love her and highly reccomend her!

I went to her for 8 years and liked her very much. However the office is a business and run like one. I was extremely unhappy with the staff and called the manager to complain and at my next appointment I was called in to see Dr. Gabriel and she kept me waiting for 3 solid hours. When she came in to see me, I was told to go to another doctor that she can't see me anymore. Dr. Gabriel was upset and sad about this and told me I should have spoken to her first. Well, I would have but her nurse wouldn't let me speak to her and hung up on me. The wait time was always one hour outside and one hour wait inside and one hour to get there and if I was 5 minutes late the staff refuse to take, thankfully Dr. Gabriel said she would take me. The manager always sided with the staff never with the patients which is why these people can get away with being rude to their patients. I would never ever go back to this place again!!!!

I have been very happy with my Dr. for close to 10 years. I never seem to have any issues with her nurse, she can be a little off putting sometimes, but she always makes sure that I have all my meds in order and always keeps in touch with my results and such. As for the staff, I notice that there is a lot of change with the front desk and that you see new faces all the time. That is sometimes a little off putting. Plus, they are not very busy because they are always talking amongst themselves. They are young and can be polite, but just not very engaged in what they are doing. I will not change my doctor though, just because of that. I love Dr. Gabriel for her strong compassion for what she does.

Dr. Bonnie Gabriel is the most articulate, professional, and compassionate doctor I've had in 65 years. I highly recommend her.

I've read the reviews...the only one that's disturbing is the one below in all caps. First of all way too angry sounds like whoever wrote it should think about working somewhere else. Dr. Gabriel is worth the long wait...she spends alot of time with her patients. And afterall im not the only one I'm this world. I've been her patient for 10+ years. I'm not one to criticize but the only one I don't care for in the office is unfortunately her NURSE. She doesn't represent the dr at all. But they do say opposites work well together and they sure are. Thank you dr Gabriel for being my dr.

I am not a patient but looking for a doctor. However, after reading the reply to the reviews by her staff, there is NO WAY I would ever set foot in this office. The doctor may be wonderful but her staff clearly is unhappy which ultimately results in poor customer serivce.
