Dr. Bonnie B Savoy

Dr. Bonnie Savoy is a native Texan, born and raised in Houston, Texas.
She graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in biology and worked in Cancer Research at M.D. Anderson Hospital before entering the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston.  Upon graduation she served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Crown and Bridge Department at UTDB.  She marks 28 years in her full-time practice
Dr. Savoy has received numerous awards for her professional accomplishments.  She has been honored with the Southwest Society of Prosthodontics Award, Mosby Scholarship Book Award, National Academy of General Dentistry Award, Texas Academy of General Dentistry Award, election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon,  and the President's Award of the Greater Houston Dental Society for dedicated service to the society.  Dr. Savoy has been active in organized dentistry for many years.  She served as chairperson for the Membership and Retention and Dental Health …Committees.  She has served as a Board Member and Director for the society, as a Delegate to the Texas Dental Association House of Delegates, as a member of the GHDS Peer Review Committee, as a member of the University of Texas Dental Branch Alumni Association, a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Fraternity and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Savoy is an active advocate of disease prevention.  She actively pursues continuing educational opportunities with a special focus on caries prevention and smile design courses including Invisalign, Lumineers, and engineered esthetics using ceramics.
When Dr. Savoy is not in her office, she enjoys photography, fellowship with church friends, travel, and spending as much time as possible with family, grandson, John John and granddaughter, Kennedy.
