Dr. Silverman is very personable and patient. I had a successful cataract surgery recently performed by her. My eyesight has improved and thankfully as I am a serious mystery novel reader. I recommend her to anyone with sight issues.

I highly recommend Dr. Bonnie Silverman. She has been used by my family for years. She is an expert in her field- knowledgeable and thorough. You will feel completely at ease in her hands. Dr. Silverman did my mothers cataract surgery in both eyes. No issues whatsoever. I needed laser surgery for narrow angles in both eyes and was extremely worried and nervous. Dr. Silverman put me at ease and explained the procedure to me at length. She performed the laser surgery in both of my eyes. It has been almost one year and there have been no issues whatsoever. Rest assured that you are in the hands of an excellent opthamologist who cares about you and your eyes. She is the best!

I have suffered from corneal abrasions and dry eye for over 34 years. I have been to more Ophthalmologists and specialists than I care to mention. Very knowledgeable, but she talks condescendingly to patients. I don’t mind waiting long as I understand her office is busy, but the minute she finally walks in, she begins with her rude comments. At one point, she asked if I drive, to which I replied no, then she said “well that’s better for the rest of us then.” I’d never expect a healthcare professional of many years to talk to a patient this way.

I have been going to Dr. Silverman for over 20 years. She is a wonderful professional- very thorough and talks me through everything so I know what is going on at all times. More than that, she is an incredibly nice and caring person, who is very responsive to my needs. I just had cataract surgery a few days ago. She discussed all of the options with me, and together we found the right one for my eyes. The process was quick and relatively painless, and I am already seeing much better than I have in years. i Arrived 20 minutes early for a 9:00am appointment. One man was waiting and was taken within 10 minutes. Another patient showed up at 9:05am. The entire time, the receptionist was engaged in personal phone calls. At 9:15am, I told the receptionist that I was going to use the restroom and would be right back. I got back within a minute and the other patient was no longer waiting. I asked the receptionist if the other patient was called because I was in the restroom and she said “yes, she called you but I was on the phone.” I told her that I was crossing my name off and would not be paying for the visit, as they charge for missed visits. She said, I’ll tell Her you’re here.” I asked what difference that would That make as she was with another patient now. She said, “you will he seen now.” She came back and said “she said not to worry, she will see you next.” I said that I was next before and should not have lost my place and would be leaving. Very unprofessional office.

My experience ( yesterday) with Dr. Bonnie Silverman for cataract LASER surgery was beyond my favorable expectations. Her expertise and excellence was highly executed. I never had any prior eye surgeries so I was a little scared but Dr. Silverman was so adept and sensitive that I actually felt secure and well taken care of. Today one day after surgery I have no discomfort and 20/20 vision! I love the results and because of this I plan to do the other eye in the summer.
