Dr. Booth Wainscoat, DO

I cannot comprehend the four bad ratings. I have a serious infectious disease in the tuberculosis family which Dr. Wainscoat has been treating for many months. He is clearly a brilliant practitioner who does a huge amount of research and acts cautiously and carefully. My case is very complicated and I have consulted with a world expert in my particular disease, and she is in accord with his treatment decisions. I am actually not interested in physicians' bedside manners, so to speak, but as a matter of fact Dr. Wainscoat spends an enormous amount of time with me, explaining very complicated issues regarding the choice of antibiotics and their possible side effects.

Very happy to have met this doctor. He actually cares about the patient and will do his best to get you out and running again.

My mother was hospitalized with a very serious infection from which she almost died. During her stay at Hartford Hospital we were very fortunate to have Dr. Wainscoat care for her. He was very thorough and had excellent bedside manner. Most importantly was that my mother got better and I know it was in a large part due to Dr. Wainscoat's excellent care.
