Dr. Boram Rachel Kim Park, MD

When Dr Park became my PCP, I was in a complacent place in my life. I was overweight, chronically fatigued, depressed, and always in some state of malaise. I had resolved this was just the "next phase in my life". Meeting Dr Park changed my life. She came into the room full of energy and excitement about improving my situation. She motivated hope in me, that I had allowed to expire. She took time to explain why I was struggling to lose weight, and how all the things I felt tied into that. She offered me options to address my underlying problem (weight), with the promise of "next steps" as we would go along. I valued her approach to the issue, and want to engage me in the decision making process. I am certain her interest in me, and her encouragement in my improvement, was genuine. She promptly followed up with tests we did; modified medication as needed; responded to any question or concern I had, and took time to ensure I understood. The outcome resulted in weight loss totaling 60+… pounds in 2 years. I feel the best I have in years, I sleep great, I have energy I didn't know was possible; and overall I "just feel better". Dr Park's time, attention, and dedication to me builds trust and confidence in a healthcare system that is pushed to see patients in quantity over quality. That was NEVER a question to me. I was always at the center of her attention, I was always involved in the decision making, I know my best interest and outcomes were always paramount; and I am certain I could not be where I am today without her! Thank you Dr Park, you have given me a new life to live to the fullest!

I saw two primary care physicians in Dallas prior to Dr. Park - one was very rushed and was in and out of the room in about 2 minutes and the other was flat out rude. Someone referred me to Dr. Park and I'm so glad she is my provider. She listens, spends time with me, is professional and knowledgeable, the list goes on.

She is very knowledgeable and efficient. She speaks quickly and knows her stuff. I really appreciate having her as my primary care physician. I can understand why others would find her challenging or detached, but I don't want a doctor who's pretending to be my buddy. I want somebody who is a consummate professional.

Had the misfortune of having her for a telephone visit through livehealth online regarding dermatitis. Towards the end of our visit, she proceeded to lecture me making judgmental comments that were inaccurate and when I confronted her, she then put "irritable" because I dained to say!

In all respects Dr. Park is just perfect. I am retired from the medical profession and her care is what medicine is all about.

Dr. Park was wholly unprofessional and impatient. I came in with my mother who does not speak English well, to translate. My mother depends on me to make sure she fully understands the care she needs. Dr. Park came into the room not really addressing us in a hospitable way. Agitated and rushed. She did not want to listen and just told us what would be done even though we were there for a annual physical. My mother was confused with how fast and unwelcoming Dr. Park was talking to me. She had no care or attention to my mother just basically kept telling her what she was doing wrong and talking so fast that I was not able to translate all the information she was telling me. I even tried to call attention to the fact that she was talking to me mom and that she needed to talk to me so that I could translate and she became very combative and rude. She did not want to help and seemed annoyed that she had to deal with anything other than prescribing prescriptions. My mother was also supposed… to have a well-woman exam and when I informed Dr. Park that we were under that impression when we scheduled the visit. Instead of her stating there was miscommunication with the front desk and what she's able to do; she basically acted as if I was trying to force her to do a well-woman exam on mother and basically yelled "I do not do that!".

This was my first time to see Dr. Park. I was very impressed. She was patient, listening to my concerns. I highly recommend her.

Wonderful physician! One of the best out there. Thorough and compassionate care. I highy recommend her to family and friends.

No follow up for 2 weeks after samples were taken for a lab test and no prompt response to email lab results even after my conversation with a staff and request for emailing of the lab results
