I was very impressed, the best doctor I’ve met. Very professional , thorough, caring . He spent a lot of time with me.I would recommend him to everyone !

Doctor Furman may or may not be a good doctor but his office is horribly disorganized and unprofessional. I met with him twice and both times he told me it was important to get an MRI as soon as possible and his office would contact my insurance company for authorization. Neither time did his office do that. I waited over three weeks for them to call my insurance company. They did not and they never returned my calls. Sometimes I could not even leave messages because his message box was filled! I should also mention that during my first visit I was kept waiting for two and a half hours! That is no way to run a doctor's office. I found a wonderful neurologist elsewhere. That office got my authorization in two days.

worst staff ever, trying to reject people by telling them need referrals when none is needed by my insurance plan,. They also don't answer the phone or return calls.

Best doctor ever. Very caring, thinking and attentive. Solved my problems no other doctor was be able to solve. Spends a lot of time with the patient, always makes the follow up calls. Would recommend Dr Furman to everyone!

This doctor is unable to properly diagnose my condition and is shifting a burden of proof on me by stating that I am imagining my health issues and offering to take psychiatric drugs, while the actual symptoms go undiagnosed and untreated. I feel I've wasted too much valuable to with him. However, this does not end there, the doctor also refers me to other doctors with the same diagnosis that basically stands for "I do not know what is wrong with my patient," so other doctors will not take me seriously either. This is a vicious circle. Never had I imagine that I would have to convince doctors of legitimacy of my symptoms instead of getting diagnosed properly and treated. I was referred to Dr. Furman by my physician as one of the best. A ridiculous claim as I now see it.

He gets you addicted to medicine he convinces you that toy need then just stops taking uppit as a patient

This doctor called me at 9pm on a Friday night, as soon as he finished reviewing the test results. He knew it would be on my mind all weekend and wanted to prevent any concerns or anxiety. I will recommend this neurologist to anyone who needs one.
