Dr. Boris Mayzler, DO

His office wrote a script for my husband that he overdosed on. Office did not do a physical examination nor reviewed patient history. Will prescribe anything and everything - even it if is harmful to the patient DANGEROUS DOCTOR AND OFFICE ==> BEWARE!!!

I arrived at this doctor’s office on time for my appointment. After waiting 30 minutes, I could see from the number of people still ahead of me that It was likely to be over an hour wait. There were two receptionists “working”, but neither of them took the courtesy to update us. Finally, I went up myself to understand how much longer they would make me wait (since it was the end of the day and I had to pick up my daughter from daycare). The receptionists were entirely unhelpful and didn’t demonstrate any care for their patients/customers and just called Dr. Boris. He proceeded to argue with me and didn’t even apologize for the excessive wait. I understand that emergencies happen, but it would have been right for the staff to warn about the long wait so we didn’t waste time for an appointment we would eventually not have time to wait for. This doctor and his staff do not treat their patients with respect and simply didn’t care.

Dr. Mayzler was my physician for the past 12 years. He is not just seasoned and exceptionally good professional, his ethical standards go well beyond what one can expect from PCP. When I got very ill and couldn't leave the house, Dr. Mayzler twice visited me at home. Whenever asked to intervene to resolve medical issues, he ALWAYS immediately responds.

Very rude and unprofessional. Yells all the time. For the same symptoms gives different diagnosists. Called me a BI.. CH last time and refused to treat me. I was crying all the time. He doesn't listen you at all. Ever if you did a Petri dish and got a Beta hemolysis, he claimed that I have a virus. When I went to other doctor, I got a different diagnosis- empetigo( as a result of sinus infection). Doctor, I have never ever had herpes( not my husband, not my doughter). Don't confuse bacteria with virus!!! Overall, treat patient with the sinus infection as patient with STD.

Walked in for my appointment and the tall male Dr. Who Iam assuming is Dr. Mayzler just stared at me as I came in and his front desk didn't greet me either. I said hi..I have an appt. At 5pm. She told me to have a seat the Dr. Isn't here yet. She didn't even ask my name as I was a new pt. The doctor I did see was very friendly and treated me respectfully.

I went to Dr Boris Mayzler on a referral and he helped me with my husband who was quite ill and needed last minute help. Not only did he assist us immediately and diagnosed what my husbands issue was but he also followed up to assure he was doing better. Now he is our new family doctor and the best one ever.

Dr. Mayzler is one amazing Doctor who not only heals but really takes care of his patients. We witnessed first hand his attention to our 92 years old father during many years and especially during last 70 days of his life. Dr. Mayzler visited him in the hospital every day including the weekends and holidays. He always found time not only to talk and listen to the patient but also explaining his thoughts and course of actions in details to us. In addition, when we asked, he found time to talk to our daughter over the phone (who is a Doctor herself.) She was also very impressed with his care and attitude. We really appreciate Dr. Mayzler and wish all other Doctors are as passionate, attentive and professional as he is.

I would recommend Dr. Mayzler to anyone. He is very caring and does a lot for his patients.I have been to many doctors before him, but now that I have found him I am very happy.
