Dr. Boris Ivanov Medarov, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Medarov for almost 3 years now for severe PAH and Pulmonary Fibrosis and can not recommend him enough. He went out of his way for me to get approval for a trial medication and he is always there to answer any questions I have. If you are looking for a great dr and someone that cares about his patients then look no further.

This review concerns Dr. Medarov's staff. I have never met the doctor. I recently called the doctor's office to make an appointment. I was told that I had to send them my records from my previous pulmonologist and also records from my cardiologist. This I promptly did and waited for eleven days without hearing a word from the doctor's staff. So I called them and was told that they never received the records. Then I called my pulmonologists office & learned that they had sent the records. She then called the doctor's office and found that they did receive the records but that I did not have a required condition for me to see the doctor. Why wasn't I told this? This staff is either incompetent or inconsiderate or both!

I've been seeing Dr. Mederov for a diagnosis of PAH almost 2 yrs. The improvement of my condition while under is his care has been wonderful. He always greets you with a big smile and is a good guy. I would recommend him to anyone who has a condition that falls under his area of expertise. ??????????

I have been seeing Dr Medarov for 5 years. I can't thank him enough.

I've had a great experience with him after going to various doctors for more than 15 years now. I only saw him once but I am glad I did. He did a medical procedure and determined that I didn't have the condition I was treated several years. His schedule is not very flexible.

The reason I had to see Dr. Medarov for turned out to be fairly minor. However, I do have to say he was very thorough and actually listened to what I had to say. If I ever have any lung problems again I wouldn't hesitate to seek his professional help.
