Dr. Boris Efimovich Reznik, MD

After months of being in pain, I was referred to this office and have been waiting for a call so I can make an appointment. Since I was getting frustrated, I called the office of my primary insurance and asked if I was able to get referred out to a specialist. They told me I’d be seen by Dr. Boris and told me my appointment. I was very confused since I never got a call from them nor was I informed of this appointment or agreed to it. I called the office and the receptionists were not helpful at all or understanding of my situation.

I RECENTLY HAD A COLONOSCOPY JAN 28,2019. DR.REZNIK WAS COURTEOUS ,AND ENCOURAGING,EVERYTHING WENT BETTER THAN IEXPECTED. IAM 72 YEARS OLD AND LIKE OTHERS DREAD THE PROCEDURE..NOT THIS TIME. THE ONLY SLIGHT DISCOMFORT WAS THE SELF PREPARATION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR EXCELLENT SERVICE..CARL.

Let me just start by saying, I am the most understandable person. However if I could give him no stars I would. I am extremely upset with Dr. Reznick and his way of practice. I have no idea how he is still a doctor. I also feel bad for anyone else who has gone through what I have experienced. I was referred over to Dr. Reznick after months of pain and suffering. After waiting months and months to finally get into this place. No tests were given to me to see what was happening. First thing he did was schedule a colonoscopy without getting me out of a flare. We did the colonoscopy another two months later (no other tests beforehand) once he got the “results” back he then goes on to apologize that I have been diagnosed with UC (ulcerative colitis). I accepted the news and listened to what he had to say. In my mind I thought (there’s no reason to question his diagnosis) he starts me on prednisone and other medications that treat UC, which if anyone has been on prednisone they understand… how horrible it is. I would say I was on this for months! At least 3! Went back and he realized nothing was working. Instead of doing any type of test (such as blood work, stool samples, CT scans) he prescribes me humira. Never heard of it, once he explained the side effects I began to second think using it. I was scared. He made it seem like that was my last resort and I was worried. After switching to another doctor to get a second opinion (after many more months of suffering) I was finally given the proper test and medications before getting another colonoscopy. Turned out I never had UC I had a bacteria that could have been cured by a simple ANTIBIOTIC! After thousands of dollars in medical bills. I am finally back to normal. No thanks to this doctor. My opinion, don’t see him, go somewhere else and if you’re experiencing symptoms that are very similar to Ulcerative Colitis, please please please make sure your doctor is running the proper tests. Stool sample, blood work etc. I suffered for so long, I would hate for anyone else to go through what I’ve experienced.

I absolutely love his as my doctor and have referred many friends and coworkers to him. I feel like he actually listens to you and talks to you like family then a doctor.

Amazing doctor, very caring. Would not be alive if not for this man.

These people SUCK! the office staff is incompetent! you will only get a voice mail an the staff is the RUDEST people I've ever met. so bad that i am filing a complaint against them with the medical board. They talk to you like you're a piece of crap with no regards. and this is regular practice for them everytime i call. usually you get a voice mail and they DONT call you back

I was referred to Dr. For a baseline colonoscopy. I am 57, and figured it was time. I was surprised at the short waiting time in his office, and the amount of time he took with me to review the purpose for the procedure, it's risks, etc. I left, feeling very comfortable with Dr. Resnik's competency, and more importantly, his caring for me as a patient.He reviewed the options for bowel prep (not glorious, but necessary), prefacing with science, but offering an opinion when asked. The day of the procedure, he came by the pre op area to answer any last minute questions, and to offer reassurance to myself and my wife. I remember nothing about the procedure, but my wife related that he came out to speak with her afterward, and she also complimented his caring, thoroughness, and humanity.I highly recommend Dr. Resnik.

This MD is the only one I have met with in my years that you were able to see he truely cares. It's too bad I can't have him as my pcp. Wonderful MD!
