Dr. Boris Shulimovich Spektor, MD

I've been with Dr. Boris Spektor since 2010. He's always been highly , compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, keeping up with medical advances, respectful, and patient with me, considering testing, analysing, determining, and prescribing for my multiple pain causes (injury and aging). Highly recommend Dr. Spektor and his staff.

He doesn't listen to me. Very distracted, seemed like he did not care. It seems like all of Emory Healthcare is becoming this way. Cheap uneducated labor

Dr. Spektor has too little experience to be working in a pain clinic. he has a vey poor bedside manner. he is demeaning in tone and patronizing. he does not have faith that his patients are being honest and therefore can not properly treat (or diagnose for that matter) them. He contradicts himself. He should go into a type of medicine that does not require empathy, as he is completely devoid of that most improtant trait. Additionally, his tendency to try and act "cool" in front of the resident in training (which he was just less than a year ago) is somewhat nauseating. He thinks he knows so much, acts like he is some kind of expert, yet he JUST completed his residency. He has no right to be in the position he is in and although MA General has an excellent reputation, I believe they made a horrid mistake in allowing Mr. Spektor to be a part of their pain management team.
