I am very pleased with the level of care that Dr. Buniak has given to my friend that I help. He answers questions promptly on patient portal, will ask questions if necessary and shows compassion while during visits.

Good doctor and all but overbooks patients and falls behind often. Plan on waiting.

He is the BEST-I am very complicated and he is extremely patient and compassionate-I highly recommend him-A+++++++++++++++

I called in this morning because my elderly mother has an upcoming appt. I asked about handling the appt over the phone as my mom is very healthy and no need to visit the office and risk covid. After saying all this to the staff person she was abrupt and rude. Not only am I not taking my mom to this appt but I am getting a her a new Dr of Gastroenterology.

Over an hour past appointment time. Understand to some degree that others before us may have had “issues” unexpected to deal with. But, it was the same way 3 years ago and 5 years ago. I feel they should allow MORE time for each patient to reduce our anxiety. As for his skills, he is an excellent doctor and has good communication and bed side manner and humor.

Way way over booked waited 1hour to get in past my appointment time

Friendly and efficient staff. Dr. Buniak performed an endoscopy and colonoscopy on me. The procedures went smoothly, pain-free and no sedation hangover!

I've been a patient of Dr. Buniak for about 16 years. He's amazing! Extremely knowledgeable, patient, great bedside manner and hysterical sense of humor! I first started seeing him when I began having excruciating pain and severe bloating any time I ate. I was referred to him by another GI specialist who didn't want to do anything other than an endoscopy. Dr. Buniak didn't ask me the same questions that I had answered on the pages-long forms that I filled out - he asked questions that clarified my answers. Before I left that first day, I knew the next three steps he would take. Mine was a difficult condition to diagnose, but he never gave up on me. At times, I would have mini-meltdowns because yet another test would come back normal. He would let me scream and cry, then say, "Okay, let's take this from the beginning. Pretend this is your first visit. Give me all your symptoms again." You can almost see his mind processing everything you tell him, searches for the… answers. His staff is wonderful and, because I've been a patient for so long, we have an excellent rapport, joking with and teasing each other. In the beginning, he ALWAYS ran behind schedule. That, however, is no longer the case. He's prompt, knowledgeable and amazing. I recommend him to everyone!
