Dr. Bowlva M. Lee specializes in minimally invasive spinal procedures as well as minor surgeries including implantable devices. Dr. Lee is double board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Lee uses a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients in order to decrease pain levels as well as improve function for activities of daily living.

Dr. Lee received his medical training at The University of North Texas Health Science Center/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Following his anesthesiology training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Dr. Lee continued his specialization at the world renowned NYU Langone Medical Center for interventional pain management.

He is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and Tarrant County Medical Society.

In his spare time, Dr. Lee enjoys an active lifestyle and participates in endurance training and Brazilian Jujitsu.

Dr Lee has been a godsend for me. I had been dealing with progressively worsening chronic pain in my back after I had a spinal decompression and fusion in 2014. He did a few epidurals which gave me some relief but gave me the options for Spinal Cord Stimulator. That was so awesome! It relieved my pain and I was able to resume many activities that I had not done in ages.

I went to Dr. Lee after my Spinal Surgeon referred me after Spinal Fusion. Dr. Lee was happy to take my co-pay and insisted that I undergo another surgery to implant a pain pump during my 5 week post op appointment to get my pain medication refilled. He insisted on not listening to me as a patient, and only was interested in making wild accusations about my future and insisted that he did not prescribe medication, even after I explained that my surgeon sent me to him for pain management following my recent surgery. Don't waste your time if you need actual medicinal help and only want to waste your time and money.
