Turned out I didn’t need colonoscopy at this time. Dr. Fenton explained all this in a very detailed way. Was impressed with his professional manner.

Very concerned about his patients and listens to what they have to say. And sending as much time as needed with you until all your questions are answered. I have been there several times to see him and some of his nurses aren’t very friendly.

Good physician

I found Dr Fenton to be a very caring, knowledgeable Dr. I had a colonoscopy done and it was not as bad as in the past. He listened and genuinely and thoughtfully answered all of my questions. He is the only Digestive Health Disease Doctor in Lubbock that is capable of treating diseases of the pancreas, as I usually go to my doctor at Baylor. I believe he had a fellowship with him, along his educational studies. So Lubbock, be glad we have a Gastroenterologist with his credentials.

I had an appointment here as my previous Doctor of 15 years had retired. Since then, I have seen only one other Dr. (only 1 time) and I had a colonoscopy. I liked that Dr. but the staff never returned calls, so in my search for a NEW Doctor, I was referred to Lubbock Digestive Disease. They made me an appointment then unbeknownst to me, they cancelled it. Their Reason for not accepting me was because I had a colonoscopy by another Doctor. Really?! Ridiculous. Thankfully I now how an Awesome Doctor. If you have a serious bowel Disease, don’t go this little Digestive Disease Center looking for a Doctor. Also the people sitting/sleeping at the front desk are just little arrogant, rude kids. Lubbock Digestive Disease is also far behind on their knowledge of treating bowel diseases opposed to some of the larger cites in Texas. Some Doctors do more harm than good because of their ego’s & nonsense.

Dr. Fenton was very caring and reassured me when I was very anxious. He is also very considerate when planning out treatment. He will always try the less extreme option to help keep the patient safe and healing faster!!

Dr. Fenton has showed himself to be a caring and knowledgeable physician on several occasions. He is kind and not pushy, especially in terms of the dreaded colonoscopy. He reassured me and told me how the process had improved over just the last several years. I appreciate his thoughtfulness, and putting himself in the patient's position. The wait time was minimal but I was prepared, having stopped by the office the day before to pick up the paperwork, and arrived about 15 minutes early.

Dr. Fenton is a great specialist. He has the patients needs at heart. Everything about him & his staff is professional & courteous. His calling to follow up & make sure we are on the right track is exceptionally fantastic.

My primary care physician made a referral to Lubbock Digestive Disease Associates. I am in a lot of pain in the transverse colon area, across my back, and in my stomach. I have lost weight and muscle strength. LDDA states that they are accepting new patients, yet the referral made by my doctor was rejected with no reason. I am scared that I am dying, and that no one will see me.
