Dr. Brad Russell Frandsen, MD

I helped a young mother with three little girls catch their cat who had run away. When I grabbed the cat he bit my left index finger down to the knuckle. It bled, I washed it off, applied antiseptic ointment and wrapped it in a bandage. I had an appointment with Dr. Frandsen the next day to monitor my diabetes. He asked me about my finger and became very concerned after I told him what happened. He examined it and it didn’t look right. He explained that deep cat bites are very dangerous and that the antiseptic ointment could not get to the harmful germs deep in my finger. He immediately put me on special antibiotic tablets to avoid a runaway infection that could lead to an amputation. He has been my doctor for years and has always done an excellent job assessing my medical condition and doing all the right things to keep me healthy and strong. I recommend him highly.

Was our family doctor for years when we had insurance. Needed a prescription . After sitting on his ipad during entire visit he said to "come back when you have insurance." Looking for new family doc. I had lost my job. Cares about people? More about the kaching. I have great insurance now. Poor business practice. N

Within 30 seconds I knew this Dr. was going to be horrible. He hardly made eye contact and started with "tell me what's going on" and then looked down and played with his Ipad the whole time and hardly listened to my problem. I was pointing to the problem on my foot and my husband said he didn't even stop and look. He gave me no advice just asked what I wanted to do and didn't examine me at all. He came across as arrogant and I felt like he thought I was just another crazy woman. It was a wasted copay and time. I was not impressed at all. He would fit in nicely at Group Health.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Frandsen's for several years. He has always been kind to us and caring...his staff has always listened and responded quickly to any concerns by telephone even when we called while traveling cross country on vacation...we certainly have never experienced anything like the negative review I just read...none of that has ever happened to us in the years we have been going there..the other Doctors in the practice all very caring and respected in the community...I do not believe these reviews are always fair...what I do know is we all have a choice to interview any clinic that we go to and make our own decision...

This so called Dr. wrote me a letter stating he would no longer treat me or anyone in my family I can't drive but maybe 2 hrs a day I can hardly walk and my 88 yr old mother who depends on me to take her places or just to go take a stroll now sits at home waiting for me to get fixed. you have been rated by so many people who said you never checked them either but handed them pain meds and shoed them out your small office. As for never treating any of my family? I would never recommend them or anyone else to your clinic in fact 19 people agree with me so not only are we writing in complaints to your supervisor but also to olympia board of health and whoever else we can write to get some action taking upon you. your a very prejudice man and I we would never call you a Dr.anyone asking about you as a Dr. trust me were giving them the truth. Thank Goodness for the great Drs who treat their patiance with respect and kindness.
