Meet the Staff
I am proud to practice orthodontics in the Modesto and Oakdale area where I am a resident and active community member.  I have had the wonderful opportunity to treat a wide variety of patients, ranging from age 6 to 75. I enjoy all aspects of the orthodontic profession, especially getting to know our patients, their families and the satisfaction that comes with each beautiful smile at the end of each orthodontic treatment. My passion is to study new techniques and use innovative technology to make my patients' treatment quicker, more esthetic, and as comfortable as possible.
Education and Experience:
I am a Board Certified Orthodontist.  I attended Sherwood Elementary, Sommerset Middle School and eventually graduating from Clovis High School. I went on to attend the University of California at Davis majoring in Biology.  Gaining acceptance to the University of Pacific School of Dentistry (UOP) after my third year at Davis was a very …proud moment in my life.  I earned my DDS degree from UOP School of Dentistry where I graduated third in my class and was accepted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the National Dental Honor Society. I was also honored to receive many awards and scholarships while attending dental school.
After purchasing and running a successful general dental practice in Modesto for 7 years, I decided to continue my education with postgraduate training at the UOP School of Dentistry where I completed my residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.  While at UOP, I did extensive research and completed a master's thesis in early orthodontic treatment assessing it's overall value, proper timing, and ideal case selection.
I have also been able to work closely with orthodontists who developed Invisalign, and I have gained extensive knowledge in the clear aligner treatment.
I am especially proud of the respect among my peers that I have earned in almost twenty years of practice. I treat many local dentists' children and am always honored and humbled with the confidence they have placed in me.
The local dental community has given me the support and mentor ships that have made me what I am today.  In return I feel a strong duty to serve.  Currently I am serving on the Board of Directors for the Stanislaus Dental Society.
Continuing Education:
I am genuinely concerned about the well being of each one of my patients, and I am committed to providing patients with individualized care and attention, ensuring a comfortable environment and wonderful results. I regularly participate in continuing education as a way to stay current with the latest trends and techniques in dentistry and orthodontics.  I am a member of several professional organizations which provide opportunities for continuing education.
