Dr. Brad Shattuck, DO

Dr. Shattuck is among the best therapists I have ever had. He is incredibly attentive and intuitive, often bringing new insights into material that was shared in prior, much earlier sessions. I was looking for someone to continue my medication and work with in long term, relatively intensive therapy. I am not sure about the other person’s experience, but I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Shattuck if you have the opportunity to do so. He is truly one of a kind and I can’t say enough good things about him.

I do not at all agree with the other rater's experience of Dr. Shattuck. He seems to me to be a responsible and caring provider. I have been seeing him for less than a year, but he has been responsive and given me excellent insight into some of the issues I am hoping to address in therapy. He has refilled my longstanding medications and even thought it would be a bad idea to discontinue at this point, but was open to discontinuing later. I have enjoyed working with Dr. Shattuck and will continue to do so.

Dr. Shattuck caused me undue harm by refusing to continue my psychiatric medication prescription (which I had been on for 10 year). By denying my refill request, he forced me to stop taking my medication abruptly, causing me to suffer withdrawal of the prescription. This withdrawal was horrible and completely unnecessary. It was impossible for me to work for a full week until I was able to make an appointment with a different doctor. He is completely negligent. Do not see this physician.
