Dr Zwahlen is brilliant and compassionate. He saved my knee joint.

Dr Zwahlen diagnosed a small infection in my patellar bone bruise that was preventing it from healing over one month, which a couple of other orthopedists had failed to catch. I believe he saved my joint. He is truly committed to seeing his patients all the way through to wellness. He also explains everything clearly and cogently, which calms any fears one may have in these very painful orthopedic procedures.

Dr Zwahlen is wonderful. He explains everything very thoroughly, and he makes it very easy to understand and follow what he’s saying. He is a very positive person.

I have had a left knee replacement by Dr. Zwahlen in 2014 and a broken right ankle (displaced tibia and fractured fibula)repaired with a plate and screws by him this year. Both surgeries healed very well.I was able to go horseback riding after the knee replacement less then a year later. He is an excellent surgeon and recognizes the value of physical therapy for full recovery. He is also very personable and offers excellent advice to speed up recovery.

Dr. Zwahlen has a courteous, warm bedside manner, and addresses my concerns with a sense of humor yet explains the options and a course of action with a realistic outcome and analogies to support such actions. He spends much time to address my concerns re the rehabilitation of my injured shoulder. He's equally respectful of my existing background in special education and how it relates to my prognosis.

Straight forward, easy to talk to. Fits me in when I need a treatment quickly. Honest about the outcome. Had two arthro on knees in 4 months. Both went with out complications
