This doctor misdiagnosed me and abandoned my care. He talks more about himself than his patients. If you go to NJ Board of Medical Examiners you will see his malpractice settlement. He nurse is the nastiest person I've even had the displeasure to be exposed to.

The doctor was kind and knowledgeable, but his nurse was EXTREMELY rude. She has bad temper and terrible social skills. I had a very bad experience at this dr. visit because of her treatment.

I have seen Dr Liva for over 20 years. I am a diabetic so I get my eyes checked every 3 months. 7 years ago I moved to Las Vegas but still fly back to see the only Doctor I trust my sight to!!!

I fond Dr. Liva after my other doctor stopped taking my insurance about 3 years ago, thank God. What I find out is mind boggling, my other doctors (yes more then one), were giving me like 10-15 strong lasers and soon after that I couldnâ??t see colors like before, Dr. Liva explained to me that he is doing 2000 (yes 2000) small lasers. He is always sitting with unbelievable patients and giving me 1000 â?? 2000 lasers it is already a few years and I see colors perfectly in my right eye that was still good at the old doctors and so they didnâ??t do anything to it and didnâ??t give me lasers on that. I recently talked to a friend of mine and he told me that he is getting lasers from the same doctor that made me color weak, I asked him how is his eyes and the respond was â??since I got the lasers I canâ??t see colors goodâ?? I gave him Dr. Livaâ??s number and I told him about my experience. About one and a half years ago my right eye started to bleed and Dr. Liva explained to me that I… have to get a procedure called a vitrectomy, I was pushing it off from fear until one morning I woke up totally blind in my right eye, I had nothing to lose so I came to Dr. Liva and I asked him to do his magic, what can I tell you, is that I see well with my right eye, there is no pain or uncomfortable feeling from the operation, I canâ??t believe how good I see, I owe Dr. Liva my life. Only God can pay him back.
