Dr. Bradford Owen Parsons, MD

Dr Parsons was unhelpful and impatient. I explained the pain in my shoulders and tried to give him the circumstances that cause it. He never let me fully explain the situation, did some maneuvers to isolate the pain, then told me to take Motrin and deal with the pain. I tried to explore the issue some more, but he was in a rush to end the appt (the waiting room was empty). I also found his beside manner to be less than impressive.

Dr parsons has an excellent ear and takes the time to explain things to you in a way that is easy to understand. Before seeing dr parsons i had seen 7 yes 7 other drs for my right shoulder. I should have just gone to him to begin with but my original surgeon gave me his name last. Excellent doctor. Worth the trip from long island to the city. Coming to the end of two and a half very difficult and trying years.

He is one of the surgeons who have the absolute BEST BEDSIDE MANNTER besides being an excellent surgeon!!

Wish I had any memory, b/c I'd lock onto the vision of Dr. Parsons masterfully mending the shoulder that had jutted out from beneath my CHIN just days before! (SO accommodating, and even followed up via a visit to me, in Mount Sinai's Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center. Now, THAT goes beyond the call of duty!)

Had shoulder issue that first required rehabilitation. He was not an expert in shoulder rehabilitation. Like all surgeons, his incentive is to cut, so he didn't seem up to date on the latest shoulder re-hab and didn't seem to put much faith in it. I have no experience with his skill as a surgeon, but I would recommend first seeing a physiatrist to help manage your re-hab unless your injury is very serious and requires immediate surgery.

Dr parsons accepted my insurance he did a great job on my collarbone. He is the best and he saved my life without a doubt.

All went well so I thought, but I have had a bad result and multiple dislocations since the shoulder surgery I had 3 years ago from Brad Parsons.

I needed rotator cuff repair surgery and felt that Dr. Parsons really knew his stuff inside and out. Would highly recommend his services.

Doctor explained nature of my shoulder injury, his prognosisof what should be done, what results I could expect. He answered any questions I had. Surgery was performed, X-raysshown to me, therapy report studied with follow-up. I woulddefinitely recommend this doctor. Wish there were more like him.

He's just great - what else is there to say? He helped me (surgery) when many other doctors would not do so. (I had to have specialized replacement surgery on my shoulder.)
