We just had the same experience that the reviewer from last year had. Dr Balint didn’t seem to care about the patients medical history nor comments from parents. Dr Balint just wanted us discharged from the hospital without providing any care. The next doctor we saw was very concerned for our child’s health as well as the specialist. Unfortunately, our discharge doctor was Dr Balint and his notes are far from accurate. His inaccuracies and neglect are causing insurance to deny our prescriptions. It seems that he comes up with a diagnosis before even seeing the patient and looks for evidence towards that. Worst yet is that he is training a resident to act just like him.
