Dr. Bradley David Bilton, MD

I was referred to him by my PCP. Made an appointment and he examined the large hematoma on my thigh. He carefully explained my options and left it up to me to elect the drainage procedure or not. I went for the drainage as the pain was chronic and excruciating. Procedure went well and I found his staff courteous, professional and personable. Pain is gone now, so I can only give him a good report. Overall, my experience with him was excellent.

Dr Bilton had great bedside manner and went above and beyond when he did my biopsy. Because he did so he was able to find cancer that was not showing in MRI and mammograms. He was very kind and a answered all my questions. I really liked him.

Dr.Bilton is a Great Surgeon and such a kind Man.

If you just want an arrogant man with a knife, you will be pleased. If you want a surgeon interested in your concerns and wellbeing, you will need to keep looking.

Dr. Bilton has performed surgery on my wife two different times and myself one time and I can not think of any negative things to say about him. If I ever need to have any kind of surgery again, I would definitely go to Dr. Bilton if he performs the kind of surgery that I need!!

Dr Bilton was professional with great bedside manner. Very qualified and seemed genuinely interested in my progress.

I initially had a very positive image of Dr. Bilton and his staff. That has changed due to several different negative experiences. I was give a list of things to do in order to prepare for gastric by-pass surgery. I completed everything and turned it into his office. I called and asked if everything was complete and all they would tell me is that Dr. Bilton has your file. This has been on going for more than 3 moths. Apparently Dr. Bilton doesn't know if I "want" the surgery enough. If he does not made a decision soon I may have to begin all my pre-op requirements again. Currently my deductible is paid for the year and the year is ending soon. I am never given clear information when I call the office and in order to find out anything about the status of my chart I have to attend a Genesis meeting. This process has taken a great deal of time and money and I am still getting no definitive answers from Dr. Bilton's office. It may be time I seek out another surgeon.

He pretty much acted like I was faking my pain after my surgery. He even at one point told me to "suck it up." No, I am not kidding. Also made me fast while I was in the hospital and told me he might have to go back in again if my pain wasn't getting better--he was trying to make me crack so that I would say I was ok! He acted like he was going to go back into surgery without tests first or anything! And in the same day he cut my pain meds in half! He also told me that the numbness I was experiencing wasn't normal but the day I checked out of the hospital he said it was perfectly normal! Having pain now and don't want to go back to see him for fear of being treated like that again! Maybe he thought I just wanted meds, idk? Dont give me pain meds..idc! I just want to know what's wrong and fix it! :( I've heard he was a good doctor but that his bedside manner is just bad. But I don't feel like I should have to prove to anyone, especially my own doctor, that I am in pain or that something… is wrong!

Dr. Bilton performed my gastric bypass in 2007 and then took out my gallbladder in 2008. He is smart, takes time explaining everything that's going on and that he is going to do/or did do, and he really cares about his patients. Most of the nurses think he's an a**hole because he actually shows up to make his rounds and he also does surprise checks to make sure his patients are being taken care of properly. If you need ANY kind of surgery, he is the one to do it.
