Dr. Bradley John Brainard, MD

Brainard, did surgery on my ankle back in 2007. I had surgery a year or so later to remove the pins. I was only 23 at the time. I don't remember all the details, but I'm so thankful he caught the problem at the time. I had x-ray at casa grande hospital , primary doctor, and another orthopedic who couldn't find the problem. I was told it was a sprang. If it wasn't for Brainard who had an MRI done on my foot and caught I needed surgery. I wouldn't be able to walk today. I'm also grateful to Dr. Myskiw in casa grande during that time. I went to him afterwards, for my other foot and he was so helpful with my care. They both are the reason I can walk today. I went through so much trying to get answers for my injury from car accident. I was failed by a hospital, my primary at the time, and another orthopedic. I'm very grateful to both of them.

Dr. Brainard is the worst of the worst.He is uncaring; unprofessional and incompetent. I almost lost my toe because of him. I had a simple neuroma, and Dr. Brainard operated; shortened my second toe and put a pin in it. My entire foot became swollen while I was visiting in Illinois. A foot surgeon there took an x ray of my foot and said Brainard needed to remove the pin. It had apparently moved. The doctor sent the x rays to Brainard, but Brainard claimed he didn't receive them, even though I found out he had signed for x-rays. He removed the pin, and a week or so later, my foot was inflamed.I went back to Brainard's office and he felt there wasn't a problem. Finally, I went to another foot doctor and found out my toe was infected to the point i could lose it.I was sent to an infectious disease doctor; had a PIC line inserted and spent a number of weeks with great discomfort and great expense. Dr. Brainard nor Tucson Orthopedic felt they had to do anything to compensate my expenses.

Dr. Brainaird did orthoscopic surgery on my ankle 20 years ago and it has been perfect ever since. When I moved from Tucson, my new physician complimented the fabulous surgery on the follow up X-ray.
