Dr. Bradley Alan Connor, MD

Very good gastroenterologist; about as good as you’re going to find, but his nursing staff is extremely rude and not helpful, and unfortunately oftentimes you’re forced to deal with them. Front desk is also very good. It’s really just the nurses that are the problem.

Dr. Connor is a diamond in the rough. He's knowledgable, friendly, and not the least bit arrogant, and seems to take pride in leaving no stone unturned to make sure patients under his care feel better. I honestly wish more doctors could be like him. I saw Dr. Connor for gastro issues that hadn't resolved after 15 years. Several doctors I saw before him dismissed me as a hypochondriac, but Dr. Connor was very quickly able to diagnose me with three intestinal parasites. After a brief round of antibiotics, I couldn't believe how much better I felt. Dr. Connor listened to my complaints seriously, didn't make me feel stupid or crazy, and highly encouraged me to come back to his practice if I felt any similar symptoms. I've recommended two friends to him and they have been comparably impressed.

The worst doctor in America. He hides behind his nurses skirts. When he has no diagnoses he is useless. His staff is useless too.

Dr Connor is very thorough and doesn't leave any unknowns uncovered. He is very good at explaining probable causes and the how and whys. He communicates really well and was able to make me feel at ease and not panic. I would definitely recommend Dr Connor to anyone requiring a gastroenterologist.

Been a patient of Dr Conner for over 10 years. He really is the best gastro in NYC. HOWEVER, his staff excluding one nurse is Awful. They can be rude and unprofessional. I do not understand how such a great Dr can allow his staff to be like that. The woman at the reception desk has an attitude that is unwarranted and needs to be trained in professionalism. They would never work in my office!

Dr. Connor is a very professional doctor that cares deeply for his patients. He is concerned with their total well being. When I became disabled he was very diligent in filing out his part of the application for SSD. I was affected so much by pain that I needed a lot of care. Dr. Connor and his assistant Judy Shipley were there for me. I also have had many procedures performed by Dr. Connor, who is gently and caring. I have since relocated but he remains in my book one of the best doctors I have ever had. This is coming from a Registered Nurse who is now unable to work.

Dr. Connor was described to us as a doctor who cared about finding solutions to difficult diagnostic problems. In our first-and only-meeting, he indicated that he was intrigued by the case, described how he intended to pursue three possible avenues of diagnosis, and said that after reviewing the medical history we submitted, he would meet with us again and determine which of the avenues we should pursue. He told us he would call us soon after his review of the medical history, without telling us he was going on vacation the next week. Almost two weeks after the initial meeting, after several calls to set up a second meeting as he had suggested, he had his assistant call us to summarily dismiss us, saying he could do nothing to help, with no explanation. We asked his assistant if we could speak to the doctor for just a few minutes to try to understand why he had so abruptly changed his previous prescription for diagnosing the problems we had discussed, which were serious and immediate,… and was dismissing us with no explanation. He refused. We do not understand the lack of morality or professionalism that would lead a doctor to accept being paid to treat another human being in such a crude, dismissive, uncaring, and unprofessional manner. He is, in our experience, neither a man who cares about finding the cause of his patients' medical issues, nor a man who even has the decency to personally dismiss those who have come to him for help, preferring to act instead through an assistant. This episode further erodes our already crumbling opinion of the American medical profession. Based on our experience, we would not recommend that anyone put their trust or hopes in Dr. Connor.

He is absolutely the best doctor. I have been a patient of Dr. Connor for over ten years and his diagnostic skills are excellent and he is truly a compassionate doctor. He always calls back in a timely manner and is truly a great doctor.

Dr. Bradley A. Connor is the most professional and caring doctor. The office staff is very professional. The medical offices are clean and everything is organized. Would recommend his services to anyone. He has been my doctor for 20 years and he has never changed in his caring and professionalism.
