Dr. Bradley A Dykstra

Dr. Bradley A Dykstra was born and raised in New Era , Michigan .  He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Calvin College in 1974, graduated from the University of Michigan 's Dental School in 1978, and has recently obtained his Masters in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University .
Dr. Dykstra started his solo dental practice in 1978 in Hudsonville, a small town in Western Michigan . His original office was expanded three times, and in 1994 he built his dream office with just over 3800 square feet of working room. For many years Dr. Dykstra has produced in the top tier of US dentists, passing the one million mark in the mid nineties. 
Dr. Dykstra went paperless in the fall of 2002, and has successfully incorporated total electronic records with digital clinical charting, digital radiography, digital intra-oral and extra-oral photography, digital impression taking, digital imaging, and the velscope oral cancer screening system. He is …fervently keeping up with the changes in current technology, as well as the latest procedures including dental lasers, techniques, and materials in dentistry.  He loves to share his methods with those who are willing to take the big step into the 21st Century.   
A huge advocate of continuing education, Dr Dykstra completes well over the minimum requirement at over 100 hours a year.  His interest in the business side of dentistry led him to enroll in an MBA program while practicing full time. He attributes his success to application of leading edge business principles to everyday practice operations.

In addition to his involvement in dental organizations, Dr. Dykstra is also involved in the Hudsonville Chamber of Commerce, Hudsonville DDA, and Zeeland Community Hospital Board of Directors.  In his spare time, Dr. Dykstra enjoys sailing, learning, traveling, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.  
Dr. Dykstra's favorite aspects of dentistry are working with people, creating beautiful smiles, and the challenge of keeping up with the latest procedures, techniques, and materials in dentistry.
