Dr. Bradley S Hiles, DO

I agree with others that have posted. It is beyond me why he decided to be a doctor. He is rude, arrogant, dismissive and truly doesn't care about his patients. I know they are busy in the ER, but he spent like 3 mins. with me. He did order some testing then wanted to send me home. I was in severe pain and nauseated. I never asked him for anything just told him how I felt. He said, "Well, we aren't going to give you pain meds." I told him I didn't feel safe going home like this so he agreed to call the medical team which admitted me. He happened to be there when the hospitalist said they were giving me pain medicine and admitting me to which he slammed the ER door so hard it shook. I don't understand why he would care if another doctor was willing to help me if he wasn't interested in doing so. He seems bothered by you coming to the ER and telling him your medical problems. Apparently, he's in the wrong line of work. Definitely a liability for UPMC.

This man has no business being a Dr. for conscious patients. He is rude, dismissive, uncaring, probably a psychopath that enjoys making little old ladies cry. He should not be a Dr. He should be a personal trainer because he's obviously obsessed with himself and has no empathy for others.

I've never met a doctor who was so disrespectful to a patient who was sick and suffering. I was treated like I had no right to be seeking any help for myself. I don't know if all emergency hospitals are now treated as urgent cares but he does so. The dr. Hiles did not offer any help and treated me so poorly that we decided to leave before getting any tests completed.I thought they took an oath to care for those in need and help.

Wonderful physician, demonstrates a genuine care for his patients and their well-being. Listens to concerns and takes them into consideration. He made my trip to the ER as tolerable as a trip to the ER can be.

Saw him in the ER and was very impressed.
