Dr. Bradley Alex Lisko, MD

I started taking my sons to Dr. Lisko eight years ago, when we moved back to Ohio from another state. My youngest son, 6 months old at the time, had an ongoing wheezing sound as he breathed. Prior to seeing Dr. Lisko, other physicians blew off my concerns. They told me that my son had a cold, colds last longer in infants... Dr. Lisko listened to my continued concerns and requested additional testing. This enabled him to diagnose a rare heart disease. My son had a double aortic arch that was constricting his trachea, causing the wheezing sound. We were then referred to Children's Hospital, my son had surgery, it went well and he is a happy healthy nine year old. We still see Dr. Lisko for annual exams and would recommend him to any parent searching for a pediatrician.

My entire family of five saw Dr Lisko for the last 8 years. My wifeâ??s family also used Dr Lisko until multiple mistakes resulted in the death of my father in law and a bizarre infection in my brotherâ??s foot. We also realized as we interacted with him he rarely got it right the first time. Never to the same extreme as my family but it would take multiple trips to office to cure rather minor problems. His bedside manner with children is matched with the same detest in which he treats his female employees. I have experienced firsthand Dr Lisko snapping at his employees, snapping at my children and the last straw was when he snapped at this 35yr old father who then walked out of his office while he chased me down the hall screaming for his nurses to give me release forms for my entire family. Then sending me a dismissal form after I had already fired him. This guy is an egomaniac I hope they remove him from the practice for the sake of the two good Dr that are there.

I saw Dr. Lisko for many years as well as my children. He REFUSED to prescribe antibiotics because he claimed he "did not believe in them" but he had no problem prescribing long term pain medication. When I would explain my symptoms, he would dismiss them as if I was being dramatic. I trusted his judgement for the fact that he is board certified, but you wouldn't be able to tell. I always had to wait 30+ minutes in the waiting room and atleast 45 minutes in the office actually waiting to be seen. Then he would rush into the office as if he were too busy for me. If you would like to be proactive in your own healthcare plan, Dr. Lisko is NOT for you.

This office has two practices I find exceptionally challenging:1. An UNstated "policy" of REFUSAL of care or prescription refills due to a billing dispute which was announced when a refill was needed, and never beforehand, written or otherwise.2. Limited ability to obtain prescription refills due to their policy that you cannot leave a message requesting a refill unless it is DURING their business hours (even though you are never able to speak with anyone and are only leaving a message anyway). Since they are only open when most people are at work, this proves difficult for working folks. When you do get through, it still consistenly takes their stated 48 hours (occasionally longer) for the written prescription to be available for pick up.

Dr. Lisko is highly skilled and accurate in his diagnosis and practice. I am a nurse with 39 years experience in critical care areas, cancer and now hospice. Appointments are made available for me when there is an urgent need. Dr.Lisko presents a competent relaxed demeanor which enables the patient to trust and share problems or symptoms that assist him in decision making and care. I reccommend Dr. Lisko to people of all ages.

not sure if he even had my file up on his toy except that he did seem to confirm my medicines, however this didn't help when it came to correctly diagnosing my issues, because he was blowing me off.
