Dr. Bradley Scott Rice, MD

The staff in this office and the Dr are very friendly and are always there to help when you need them. I totally recommend this office to anyone look for a Gastroenterology specialist.

Dr Rice and his staff are great and truly care about their patients, they have helped me so much with the issues I have been having and would recommend them to anyone that asks.

I was told that Dr. Rice was one of the best GIs in the state, so of course I wanted to see him. After sending in all of my medical records pertaining to my gastrointestinal problems, I waited months just to be told that he would not see me; that he didn't give second opinions. I wasn't looking for a second opinion, nor did I ask for one. I wasn't seeing a GI at that time, but still needed help and thought Dr. Rice would be able to help me. He refused to see me. Recently, I went to my family practitioner, Dr. Gray, and she informed me that I needed to see a GI. She asked if I had someone in particular that I would like to see and I told her how I wanted to see Dr. Rice. She said she knew Dr. Rice quite well and would make a call to him for me. I don't know if Dr. Gray made the call. I do know that the office staff faxed over a referral for me to see him. This evening, after waiting a while, I received a message stating that Dr. Rice once again refused to see me and suggested… that I be sent to either UAB or Vanderbilt; both of which I've been to with no resolution to my GI problems. I find it unacceptable that Dr. Rice would not see me. I can't be classified as a problem patient because I've never been a patient of his. Best GI in the state....hmmm, I think not.

If one doesn't mind being treated like bovine through the processing facility, read no further. While my insurance company would pay for preventative screening, Dr. Bradley's office refused to explain to me clearly why they insisted to 'code' the procedure otherwise, stating I have a history (while I do not). Impossible to talk with the good doctor about it. Seems as though he must not be in charge of his office.

Wonderful staff and Dr Rice is so caring.

Dr. Rice was kind, courteous and professional. He promptly found the cause of my discomfort and promptly treated me for it.

Dr. Rice is an incredible doctor and the staff is amazing!

Dr.Rice is a great doctor and has a wonderful office staff!! I would highly recommend this doctor to anyone that wants a doctor who cares about you.

Make sure you bring a co-pay otherwise DR Rice's staff will turn you away. They do *NOT* bill co-pays and the mandatory co-pay at time of service was not listed on the website. I waited a month for the appointment only to be turned away. Is this professional? Is this what you are looking for in a doctor?

love him, very nice, smiles a lot, i never feel rushed by him to get done and get out, very accurate and spot on for an irregular diagnosis.
