Dr. Bradley James Schroeder, MD

If you believe that your food intake may influence such conditions as DIVERTICULITIS, don't see this doctor. During a follow-up for this condition, I stated that he could have informed me (just had had multiple colon/stomach tests) of my condition and that I would have been more careful with my food intake. His reaction: "It doesn't matter what foods you eat. I don't believe that food influences the colon." Just say'n folks - find a doctor with some common sense. Other issues with Midwest as well. Will never return.

I would recommend doing a little research prior to using this physician. If it is strictly a procedure you want done, he seems to be good at colonoscopies. If you want him to call you and discuss issues you are having due to medicine he prescribed or other follow up, choose another doctor. He does not return calls or have his nurses relay a message. His communication skills are poor.

Despite the low ratings I saw online, I went ahead and scheduled with this doctor, as he was the first available. I wouldn't normally bother to leave a review, but since I myself checked out the reviews prior to my visit, I felt compelled to write this review because--while other reviewers may have had a poor experience--my experience with this doctor and his staff was nothing but positive. The wait time was brief, the staff was all very nice, and the doctor was nice as well. I encountered no rudeness whatsoever.

I had an appointment with another Dr in the same clinic but was not able to get in for six weeks then my symptoms got so severe and I called the office staff to get me in earlier even if it was any MD. that I could see. She put me in for the cancellation list. Five minutes later. She called me back and I had an appointment for the next day with a MD. The office staff was very courteous on the phone and was able to get my test done the next day. In 24 hours later I had my test done and when I got my diagnosis came back I was put on medication. When I had issues with the medication the nurse was very courteous with me on the phone. Call back with the nurse was very prompt. In all I would rate cares by MD a 4.5.

Should have read other reviews before taking my daughter here. Nurse is a rude gate keeper who chooses to be as non helpful as possible. It seems to be a game to her. Non responsive to writing a justification note for medication he has prescribed to our insurance company even after multiple appointments. Save yourself great frustration. Look elsewhere.

Dr. Schroeder is prompt, personable, and knowledgable. I definitely would and have recommended him.

Staff is rude, billing is awful and doctor really doesn't seem to care, he's too busy, try getting an appointment.

In the past have had no issues with Dr. Schroeder but currently dealing with his staff has left me looking elsewhere.

This Doctor constantly threatens gloom and doom, he's just out to take all your money!!!!!!

Dr. Schroeder does not care about his patients. He seems to have allowed the label of "doctor" to go to his head. He is the worst doctor I've ever come in contact with. I hope never to see him again.
