I first saw Dr. Sklar after no one else could figure out the source of my abdominal pain for years. After going to this man for a short time, the doctor figured out my diagnosis and treated my ulcer so it won’t even come back. I am now out of pain and was able to return to work feeling good. All thanks to Dr Sklar and his digestive disease people in Utica NY.

Kind caring and intelligent Utica NY doctor helped me during my toughest darkest times fighting Crohn’s disease . I have my life back thanks to Dr Sklar and his staff at digestive disease medicine .

We heard about Dr. Sklar through a family member. We were so excited to start our journey for our daughter with him because he came highly recommended. We are completely disappointed because he built this excellent relationship with our daughter and she has not seen her in two years. He passed her on to a Practitioner and could care less now about her progress. To make matters worse, his office staff is the worst I have ever dealt with. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to describe the women in the accounts payable department. They are uncaring and hostile. They do nothing to improve a situation and are condescending to young, inexperienced patients. Instead of being sensitive to the idea that a young person is still trying to navigate the maze of insurance issues, they choose to be condescending and volatile. We are encouraging our daughter to leave the practice and look for better, more caring health care professionals.

Always has been more than friendly and helpful.

Dr Sklar is very informed in the digestive area. I will be a life long patient of his. He's always smiling and knows what he's doing. As far as waiting to see a doctor, he is one of my shortest waiting times. The last time I was there it was 10-15 minutes and was out within 30 for a follow-up. I'll say this again, he is VERY intelligent in his field.

Dr. Sklar is an Excellent Doctor. I highly recommend him. Great bedside manners.
